Am starting to realise that contact between my family Corkell in Cornwall and the (root) family of Corkill on the Isle of Man might have still existed into the 1900s. I dont know how long for, but maybe long enough for people still living to remember events/people being spoken about? I am still trying to find the Manx Corkill (possibly John Corkill who married in Penzance in 1802) who linked the two families and wonder if perhaps any Corkill on the Isle of Man might just remember hearing something about distant relations in Cornwall/West of England? Any crumbs of information, however small, gratefully received!
