Hello,

I was wondering if anyone was researching a SCOTT family from the RAMSEY area.

My gx4 grandmother was an Elizabeth SCOTT who (according to census data) was born in Ramsey, Isle of Man circa 1810.

She (probably with her family) had moved to Stockport, Cheshire by 1830 as this is where she married a James TIPPING. They had at least five children: Thomas, William, Jane, Susannah & James.
