We did not have a good turnout, although the few attendees felt it was worthwhile and I hope enjoyed it.

We clashed with several other events, and a Friday was the wrong evening.

I think if it had been arranged with better notice and more widely publicised, also held away from the weekend, there is no reason why it should not have attracted a better attendance.

The Kinvig event I arranged last year went a lot better but I put much more time into arrangements, writing individually to relations and researchers, and it had some wonderful free publicity from "Fenella".
