Paul -

I am sorry that notice has been relatively short and the timing just misses your visit to the Island.

I called past Selborne Drive on Tuesday and hopefully your cousin may be able to attend.

I will have your notes available for consultation, and will also print out your message.

So far as the land records are concerned, I have the following:

Intack 81 in Onchan of 9d Lord's Rent & Intack 109 in Onchan of 3d Lord's Rent were purchased by Thomas Quine by deed dated 2 January 1799 from Robert Cottier. (Lib. Vast. Apr. 1804).

Intack 105 in Lonan of 8d Lord's Rent vested by purchase in Thomas Quine before 1802. John Quine became entitled to Intack 81 & 109 as the heir at law to his father Thomas Quine before 1864. (LIb. Vast.)

Thomas Quine and his wife by their will proved 24 November 1841 devised Intack 105 to their son Thomas Quine and he being dead was succeeded by his son John Qu ine as heir at law (Lib. Vast. Oct 1864)

Intack 73 in Lonan of 3s Lord's Rent together with Intack 92 in Lonan of 1s Lord's Rent were "Vested by purchase in Thomas Quine upwards of sixty years" before 1862. On his death the same descended to John Quine his son and heir at Law and on his death the same descended to his daughterand heiress at law now entered with John Quine her husband. (Lib. Vast 1862)

On 14 Dec 1819 Thomas and Catherine Quine settled upon their son John all of Coanrhenny Quine, and half of Conrhenny Loony and half of Cottier's Croft.

Perhaps you can sort out the two families from this data!
