George Henry Moore was from the family of Moores of Billown, Malew. There is at least one file of cuttings on him in the Library of the Manx Museum.

I would be interested to learn the contents of Annie Quayle Moore's will, who died childless, a widow. They say in New Zealand that her money, i.e. GHM's, made in New Zealand, went back to the Isle of Man. Those gateways on the northern and eastern approaches to Billown are certainly grand by Manx standards....
