I am seeking info with regard to my great grandfather that immigrated to South Africa from the Isle of Man.

Unfortunately his first name is yet unknown to me, but his three sons were named Robert, Harry and William.

He married a Miss van der Walt in South Africa.

My grandfather was Robert Christian and was killed in World War II in Egypt. My grandfather married Iris Heidenrich and had three children named Robert, Nora and Yvonne (my mom).

Any info and advice on starting my search would be appreciated.
