Little

As usual, writing queries without my notes to hand. However:

I noted the name Little in connection with working on Ellerslie farm Crosby Marown on Peter Kelly's page in the IOM Examiner this week. Circa first half of last Century. I know no ages, nor length of time the Littles were there.

Question: Is anybody tracing the name Little on the IOM?

Reason: my gg grandmother, a Nielson or Nelson from Scotland married a Morrison from IOM (descended from Ballaugh Morrison); her sister also Nielson or Nelson married a Little, also from Scotland, and more precisely, Wigtown.

Can't tie down my Nielson/Nelson to Wigtown, as it took some doing finding out that my ancestor came from Scotland (different answers in different places; she obviously didn't care about the detail, if indeed she was literate!). But if you have the connection, I would like to hear from you, primarily through this page.

Both marriages took place in IoM, St Peter's Onchan. Morrison's had moved to Ellerlslie and were there circa 1900 +.

Basically wondering why the two sisters came here from Scotland.
