I would like to know whom to contact on the I.O.M. who might search local records for information regarding this. I believe J. Callow to be John Banks Callow born Douglas, I.O.M. 1854/55; son of Silvester Callow b. 1816 Douglas, who was the son of George Callow, Douglas and Jane Banks of Howstrake.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. John Banks Callow is my husband's maternal g.grandfather.
