Hi Nigel: I think my Wm.Cubbon could be the brother of the other blacksmith Cubbon.

My G3 Grandfather was Thomas Maxwell born in Scotland and married Isabella Cannel from Kirk Michael in l783. T born l745 and I born abt.l759
They had 6 children, One being my GG Grandmother Jane Maxwellborn in Onchan 29 June l792 and married Wm Cubbon (blacksmith) in Liverpool,St. Nicholas,England 8 Feb.l8l9.They had 3 children , one being my ggrandmother Elizabeth Cubbon born l821 in Onchan and married my ggrandfather Samuel Brew (son of Samuel Brew and Ann Cannel of Lonan)
Elizabeth and Samuel had three children, one being John Maxwell Brew (my grandfather born in Onchan 1853. I have been looking for so long trying to find something of William Cubbon but there were so many Cubbons that I can't link anyone with him. I'm also having quite a time finding any more about the Brews. This is all I have other than one burial. If you could link me up with any of these people I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
