I have a William Gell ( born Casteltown Isle of Man about 1933 who married Elizabeth Moore born in Douglas Isle ofMan 1836. He changed the name to Gill and all the children were Gill's.
Willaim 1858 Albert 1863, Frederick 1863 Henry 1864 and Edith Ann 1870 were the only ones that reach adult hood.I am the Great grandchild of William 1858, who had William George 1884 in Liverpool but was raised by his Grandmother on the Isle of Man before coming to Toronto and Marrying my Grandmother Louisa Chandler.
