I am looking for the parents of John Minwell. He was born April of 1839 on, I believe, the Isle of Man. He had a brother, William, who was born about 1835. He immigrated to New York State about 1849 perhaps by way of Mexico.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any and all help is appreciated.
