Just to make public my appreciation of the presentations by Frances and Nigel at the seminar run by the Centre for Manx Studies at the Manx Museum a couple of weekends ago. Fascinating stuff - almost made me volunteer to research the mortgage records until Nigel hinted at how boring it would be!
