Thanks for both of these responses Nigel. Thomas Killip moved his shoemaking business to Duke Street in 1921 (I don't yet know from where - he may have been in Peel in 1812, but was in the Onchan Parish in 1916, presumably elsewhere in Douglas) and may have moved again to Strand Street where he died in 1832. His widow Eleanor had an earthenware goods shop in Strand Street in 1861 (an earlier thread refers).
I am trying to fill in the details for his descendants in New Zealand.
