Will of Arthur Calcott of Balla(c)lough, Isle of Man
Will with probate. The houses and lands lately purchased from James Jerom to be held by the trustees (Capt. John Huddlestone of Ballacott, Capt James Prescott of Liverpool & Hen. Taylor nr Knowsley) & the proceeds divided as follows;-
To his daughter Eliza Calcott £200
To his wife Mary Calcott £100
To his son Robert Calcott £100
To his son Arthur Calcott £100
And the residue to the executors.
We further bequeath to his son Robt. his own share of goods & cattle on the estate at Ballalough, and to his undutiful son Turner 6d only, to his daughter Elizabeth a piece of plate called Tangier Tankard, to his son Arthur, 4 silver spoons and a feather bed and furniture, and to the poor of Kirk Michael
2 bowls of barley.
