I think the old Calcot pedigree originates with a Visitation Pedigree from Cheshire. The old tree states that Henry Calcot of Chester was a younger son of Thomas Calcot of Calcot in Cheshire.

Robert Calcot was Comptroller of the Isle of Man (the Lord's Accountant) and acquired the Nunnery at the Dissolution.

His grandson Henry was a younger son who I think settled at Ballalough, a farm near the Island's old capital of Castletown.

The Calcots were cursed by the supporters of Illiam Dhone in an old ballad...and most of the family property passed by inheritance or mortgage to other hands.

"Go to the Nunnery of the black robed nuns, go to the Creggans or to Ballalough - nobody of that name will greet you there..."

Over the years the surname became altered and the descendants are now called Colquit. I think they are also of the Ballalough line.
