Thank you for taking the time to answer my query, it is most appreciated.
More and more I think that this man may not be mine. As you say the name lends itself to being spelt differently. I am actually looking for a McMellon. I was sent details in the name of McMillian as there was the possibility it was spelt wronge, but in this instance I think it is spelt right.The only thing that these two men shared was being mariners. Once again thanks for your time.
