I have been told by a staff member at the Manx Museum "that the original registers have only recently been microfilmed in the Manx National Heritage Library" and that the films I looked at there a few years ago were probably of transcripts of the registers.
- These previous films would be the same as the ones available for borrowing through LDS family history centres.
Would someone who visits the Manx Museum be able to tell me please whether the recent filming of the original registers was done by the LDS Church?
