I am looking for any information on Thomas Quilliam, b 26 May 1782, Malew who on 30 Oct 1810 married Carolina Catherine Clucas, c 1 Feb 1784 in Marown. Internet says they were married at Braddan.

I have an ancestor Elizabeth Quilliam, b ca 1810, Isle of Man. She married in Lorain Co, OH, USA,in 1832. The Lorain, OH census has only one Quilliam family listed in 1830. That is Thomas Quilliam, listed with wife and 6 children all aliens, the youngest is under 5. I have found cemetery records listing Carolina C Quilliam, wife of Thomas, died Lorain, OH, 1833 at age 48. This is close to that birth year of 1784.

Web sites say the parents of Thomas are Robert Quilliam and Judy Quine. Carolina's parents are listed as John Clucas and Margaret Fargher. Every clue here points to the fact that this is my family, but I would like to have some documentation and contact people who have researched the Quilliam and Clucas families.

Any help would be appreciated.
