what is manx? + question about IoM

Salut,

i'm from Germany and i found the IoM's coat of arms (three legs) are the same like my anchestor's have.

Origin was in Polen 1107 given by Boleslw III to a knight called Drogomir who has lost 5 son's and 3 left injured after a battle against German's at the "Hundsfelde".

If u check out the coat of arm's of "Drogomir" (also given to Romatowski, Kulikowski, Kikut, Potrykowsky, Sadowski; origin written down in pol."Slachza") u will find the same three sporned legs like in u're isle's banner.

The polnish say it could be, that the legs are not polnish origin, they may be older than 1107.

I'm interisted in any theorie u have.

I do not agree with the opinion this are the legs from sicilia isle.

One theorie is each of the 3 son's lost one leg, and that's the reason for this legs. But this results of older translations of the origin pol. text and could be wrong.

Furthermore i want to know what MANX are? are they celtic influenced?

Greetings from Cologne
Dunc
