There are two entries in the 1841 census which would fit. Unfortunately, they both seem to be working away from home.
1. John Tate, 20, servant to Thomas & Margaret Kinnish in Malew
2. John Tate, 15, servant to Daniel & Elizabeth Joughin in Maughold.

Keep in mind these ages could be approximate.
20 = 20 - 24
15 = 15 - 19
