Jon, I think you need to look at the marriage record so that you are certain who you are looking for. You can order this yourself at any LDS Family History Centre. The film number for Ballaugh 1849-1883 is 0106178, and costs $3 to $6 [depending on which country you live in] to have for a month to view in the FHC. People in the IOM would also have to view the film, so it is better to do it oneself - especially as you might find other entries of interest.
