My previous question was somehow misconstrued as being an attack on the good people of the Isle of Man. Honestly, I do not understand how. The phrase, "being an american" means that we are so watered down as a culture that being of somewhat pure cultural lines is a foreign concept. Being of Manx descendancy, I am merely trying to understand what your culture is composed of, and how the people feel, the pulse of the country, if you will. To understand genealogy requires a keen insight of historical and cultural proportions. Who better to lean on than you all? I believe that if you all would like to reread my post bearing in mind what my intentions are,you perhaps will view it in a more fraternal light.
