I have been trying to get information about my great grandmother, Margaret Quirk(e). She was born around the 1850's and moved away from the island to marry JOHN DORE probably around the 1880's. He was a mining fitter and engineer from the West Country (Devon, Cornwall area). From the records it seems she was likely to have been one of the Foxdale Quirkes and I wondered if anyone was also decended from this branch of the Quirkes and would like to contact me?
