My great great grandfather and his wife were born at Kirk Michael. My grandfather was Edward Murray born about 1866 and he married Sophia Quayle I think. She was born about 1867. However, I still have to prove this marriage although I am pretty sure I have the right Sophia. In 1881 Sophia was not living at home so I have not been able to identify her parents or siblings as yet. She was a Servant at age 24. residing at the home of Capt. Randal Foote and his family at 55 Derby Sq. Onchan, Isle of Man.
The 1901 census shows them living in Liverpool with five sons, one of which was my grandfather.
Your Annie Quayle is about 19 years older than my Sophia - her mother maybe?
