On my wife's side of the family I have found a Lawrence White (b ) who was a prisoner in Rushen Castle in the 1881 census. Can anybody tell me what his crime was and how long the sentance he had to serve.
Also it appears that his father was also called by the same name, does anybody have any information on him please.
