I am seeking any information about Daniel H. Nelson, born in Ramsey to the infamous Charles Banks Nelson and his wife Lucy Jane nee Hiern. Daniel was born 1878 and served as a trooper and despatch rider in the Boer War when he was 22 years old. What happened to him, I wonder? Any ideas much appreciated. Olga in Australia.
