I do indeed have a photo that shows the RNR that operated at Peel 1897-1906 - in front row of a small group around their gun is a dapper looking Lieut - one name mentioned is Newnham (only 2 Lieuts mentioned) - I suspect on disbandment he was attached to the coastguards
