I recently emailed most of the genealogists recommended by the Manx Museum and have had no reply from them. This is not a complaint but rather an observation: is the list current and relevant, and if not, could a kind contributor recommend someone for me?
I have some genealogical questions, am prepared to pay a fair rate, and am genuinely interested in finding out all I can about my family/families IOM background.
(interests: Newnham in Peel (not IOM folk,) and Teare, William and Margaret, Nee Williams, circa 1830's 40's.(guessing here) Any info most welcome. Many thanks, Ty Newnham. for more info, much to my embarassment, check my earlier postings on the Newnham and Teare names!
