Surely this must be Quine? Spoken with a certain accent this might sound like Quane.
It's interesting how some things come together - if you look at susanne's comment on 'Family Name-Fiel??? (j kelly)' just below (today) on names, she notes how important (or unimportant?) the spelling is. So much depends on how the name is said - especially if somebody else is writing it down.
