william cain

I wonder if anyone can help me, I am trying to locate my manx roots and would appreciate any information.
I believe my grandfather William cain was born around 1880, either in Peel or Douglas, I think he had a niece called Elizabeth cain, possibly known as Beth.
He left the island to join the R.A.F and was awarded an M.B.E. in the late 1940s, early 1950s for being one of the founders of the W.R.A.F. After leaving the R.A.F he worked in the Ministry of Defence as a Senior Exc Officer.
He was married to Florance rowley and had three children David, Antony(tony) and Joan, sadly he died in London around the 1960s.
Any information will be gratefully received.
