Jane Black

About one month ago an indirect posting was made to Jane Black. Her father was a brewer and moved from Douglas to a brewery in Kirk Michael. She married John James Kaighin in October 1883, they had a son also called John James born 04.04.1879 (illegitimate) died 13.02.1951 and buried in Michael .As a matter of interest the 5 small grave stones opposite the South door of Michael church are all Black children from the same Family and they all died as a result of a typhoid fever outbreak in the village.
