Several years ago my brother attended a meeting of the Eaves/Ives family in North Carolina in the U.S. He was told at that meeting that our family originated on the Isle of Mann. But in searching for family names of Mann, I have not found any Ives. I would like to know if you have any knowledge of the Ives' and if they did indeed originate on Mann.
