There was a Robert Huddleston who held property in Douglas [Tenement Ref. 07/01 in my recent Survey of Douglas in 1705.] Robert d. 1702 leaving a widow Isabel alias Alexander who held the Douglas property in 1705. Robert had inherited from parents Thomas H. (.1663) and Jane Murrey (d. 1670)Further research would turn up whether Robert left a son of the same name. I only have reference to his children Alexander and Jane succeeding to parts of the Douglas property.
