John LACE, farmer, died 1856

If anyone is looking for John Lace of East Nappin, Jurby, his estate was not administered until November 1907, when his grandson John James TEARE of Ballachrink, Jurby, farmer, petitioned to have the administration of his land of Clenagh in Lezayre granted "to some fit and proper person". John Lace bought the land in 1836 from Ann Radcliffe of Ballaradcliffe, Andreas, for seventy-one pounds and ten shillings.
