Thanks to Brian extending his wills index, I now have a copy of the will of Thomas Gale, which has given extra information about his youngest daughter Emily Edith Gale born 1882. She apparently married a Cannell and, it would appear died before 1922.
Is anyone else researching this Cannell family?
