Dear Kate, Your note caught my attention as I am tracing the Tates in IOM. Elizabeth Tate married James Kerruish 8 Oct 1881 Kirk Michael. There was an Eliza Tate born to Godfrey Tate and Ann Evison christened 28 April 1835 at Lonan and an Elizabeth Tate, same parents, christened 12 May 1843 at Lonan, presuming Eliza died. I am interested to maintain contact on that side of your family, as I haven't confirmed the connection with this Godfrey Tate yet. Good luck,
