I am searching for information regarding my grandfather William Frederick Shimmin born 1905 in Birkenhead England. His mothers maiden name I believe was Cannon. He married Margaret Catherine Kelly -born 1903 Douglas IOM. William and Margaret married abt 1928 in Douglas and immigrated to the United States in 1929. They had three children Joseph, Douglas and Florence. William had a sister by the name of Catherine (AKA Kitty) Shimmin. I was told she never married and the last we had contact with her was in 1997 from Douglas IOM. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
