We should treat others as we would wish to be treated....However, because of the individuality of each person, this in itself will draw disparity, as how one may expect to be treated may vary from another.
I guess that is the thing we tend to forget.. that each person is an individual with individual expectations and considerations, which therefore opens up a myriad of concepts of interpretation of laws, morals, ethics and so on.
