Greetings! I am seeking information re. Thomas Cole, born IOM on July 4, 1833, the son of Robert and Hannah Cole. Thomas emigrated to America in 1851, finally settling in the state of Michigan. Can anyone direct me in how to best research his family? I understand that the surname Cole has a number of variations including Coole or Cowle. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
