As I go about my everyday life and in my travels, I am astounded at how many Manx names I come across. I even go back to school friends here in Australia, who I now realise had Manx names. Once you get a sense of Manx names you seem to spot them everywhere. I'm just back from New Zealand and spotted heaps of Manx names there. For such a tiny island, our ancestors sure did get around.
