Catherine, a check of the Rushen 1851 census has listed:
7 86 MOORE, Jane Ballacurry, Head Married aged 39 Fisher's wife bn Rushen

Moore Esther, Motherin law Widow, aged 65 bn Rushen

Moore, John, Brother, Unmarried aged 33, Joiner bn Rushen

Moore, Jane daughter aged 11 scholar bn Rushen

Moore, Cath. daughter, aged 9 scholar bn Rushen

Moore, Esther, daughter, aged 7 scholar bn Rushen

Moore, James, son, aged 4 bn Rushen

Sounds like your crew - I'm sorry I don't have the Fisherman's census to indicate the fishing boat James would have been on that night - but someone else on the list may be able to check that for you. Ballacurry is a stone's throw from Surby - i.e. in the immediate vacinity. There was a large contingent of Moores at Bradda, Surby, Ballacurry, Ballafesson and Fistard - all within a couple of miles. I have loads of Moores in my line from this area - if I connect I'll email you.
