Do you have a church ? (there are some 25 including RC etc that could be used let alone many more Methodist chapels) - a journey from Liverpool to the Island just for a chistening is rather strange - was there a previous Manx link ?
The Manx Museum keeps a list of paid researchers - if Anglican then a check of Manx Church magazine might be useful as this usually carried a list of baptisms
