Hello Clare

The only information I can offer is that an Edward Stowell along with Annie Tarwood was a witness to the wedding of my great grandparents, Richard James McLeavey born 1873 and Alma Florence Corkill born 1881. The wedding took place 12 February 1899 at St Paul's Church.

The father of Alma Florence, John Corkill, (blacksmith) is listed as living at 12 Bark Lane in 1894.

It is not much for you to go on but I hope this is of some use to you.
