Evan CORKILL, b1830's IOM, d1890's Liverpool

Hello, It's been a year since I posted a query here, so I thought I would post a new, updated one. According to the Marriage Certificate for my great-grandparents, the parents of Mary Elizabeth Corkill were Evan and Elizabeth CORKILL. Mary Elizabeth was born in 1860 in Liverpool, England. But, I am told that Evan Corkill was born on the Isle of Man. Recently, someone has told me that there were at least two Evan Corkill's born on the IOM and living in Liverpool in the same timeframe. .... One of them was Evan Corkill, b.1827, son of John and Esther Corkill. (John Corkill b.1799? IOM) .... The other was an Evan Corkill b.1847, son of Charles and Jane Corkill. .... Because Mary E. Corkill was born in 1860, I tend to believe that the Evan Corkill born in 1827 in Lezayre was her father. .... In 1873 Mrs. Elizabeth Corkill died, and their five children were placed in the Liverpool Sheltering Homes, which had just opened up in May 1873. In 1874 the five children were shipped out of the country and sent to Halifax, Nova Scotia. They were Mary Elizabeth (14), Julia (11), Esther (9), John (5), and Robert (3). In 1879, Mary married another "British Home Child," John Stanley Lewis. In 1881, they left Nova Scotia and migrated to Boston, MA. They had 13 children here. .... Because of my research, I have made contact with descendants of the two sisters of my great-grandmother. The four younger siblings all remained living in Nova Scotia, to the best of my knowledge. ..... Both for myself and for my "distant cousins" near Halifax, I would like to find out about the family of John and Esther CORKILL on the Isle of Man. According to a very helpful person, Evan might have had seven siblings: John, William, Evan, Margaret, Robert, James, Anne, and Lewis Corkill. .... Is anyone else researching this family?
