Be aware that this index is compiled by the Mormon Church from a variety of sources. Entries for the Isle of Man up to 1878 are pretty accurate and complete.
Take any entry with a date of 'Abt' = about, or with 'Mr' or 'Mrs' in the name with more than a pinch of salt. It usually means that someone at some time has assumed that such a person existed. The LDS Church does not verify any entries.
