Off the topic, but should be of interest to all who are interested in Manx early emigation to North America: the 1989 publication of the Manx Family History Society contains much information about feelings of the Manx about their new country. It includes a letter from William Teare about how information was traded back and forth across the Atlantic and names of some of the emigrants, including lists of family groups who made the journey.
