I to am interested in the Karrans. I am currently looking for a William Karran, baptised in Kirk Rushen on 18 December 1841 the son of William Karran and Jane Watterson. I understand William emigrated to Canada in the 1860/70's and may have gone to British Columbia. Can anyone help please. Incidently is it easy to search BC census records, votors lists etc.
The Karrans I have information on were all born in the Parish of Rushen.
