Thomas Turnbull to Nova Scotia - 1775

My Turnbull ancestor to Canada was Thomas Turnbull, who with his wife Jane (Jean) McKay and children James, Thomas and Margaret, was picked up at Douglas, Isle of Man by the vessel Lovely Nelly in 1775. This vessel had sailed from Annan, Dufriesshire, Scotland with a goup of Lowland Scots. Thomas is listed as Thomas Trumbell on the ships passenger list. They arrived Ile St. Jean (now Prince Edward Island (PEI)), Canada in 1775, but the group relocated to Pictou, Nova Scotia in 1776 because of a crop failure and impending starvation on PEI. Three more children were born at Pictou, including a daughter, Martha, who married James Cassidy abt. 1795. James Cassidy and Martha Turnbull are my gggrandparents. I am seeking Thomas Turnbull's (or Trumbell's) siblings and parents who I believe were original from Scotland, but I have no location for them. I would welcome any input from listers to this bulletin board. Many thanks in advance. Jack Cassidy, Ontario, Canada
