LEWTHWAITE/QUILLIAM

I am trying to find out information about my gggrandmother, ISABELLA JANE LEWTHWAITE was born/baptised on 12 July 1846 at Douglas, Isle of Man.
She is rumoured to have worked at the Cumberland Tavern, Douglas, and had an affair with the publican, Richard Quirk, which resulted in her having an illegitimate son, Richard Lewthwaite (my great grandfather), who was baptised on 24 March 1867 at St. Barnabas Church, Douglas. In the 1871 IOM census both she and her son (who had now taken on the name of Richard QUIRK) were living with her parents at 31 Bigwell Street, Douglas.
In 1876 she married one James QUILLIAM at Braddan Church, IOM. In the 1881 IOM Census they are shown as living at 2 Post Office Place, Douglas. In this census James is shown as 28 years old and a General Labourer and she is shown as working for the IOM Steam packet Company.
In the 1891 IOM census they are both shown as living at 26 Barrack Street, Douglas, together with a Robert QUILLIAM aged 87 years (presumably James’ father). It is thought the QUILLIAM’s originated from the Marown area, although this is not substantiated at this time. I cannot trace them after this census.
I have contacted the IOM Steam Packet Company but they have no records kept on their files relating to her.
If anyone out there knows anything about my gggrandmother (her burial place etc), or is related to James QUILLIAM, I would be more than grateful to hear from you at the above e-mail address OR telephone 01624 842041/write to 44 Ballaquane Park, Peel, Isle of Man IM5 1PX.
Thanks
Tony
