Re: William Clucas

Hi Clucas family,

I am researching Annie Hall born Isle of Man 1853 married my great grandfather Samuel Ferguson in South Shields Co. Durham in 1881. I think they may have been in transit on honeymoon at time of UK 1881 census as I have them at a boarding house in Liverpool. While searching the 5 hall families on I of M during 1881 census I came across: John T. Clucas, (possible grandson) Male, aged 6 years residing with Hall Family, Ronague Road, Arbory. Head of House William Hall Married aged 70, Farmer of 30 acres?, born Malew I of M, Wife Catherine aged 59, born Arbory I of M, John unmarried 28, Jane unmarried 25, Mary A. aged 7 (grandaughter) born Liverpool, England and John T. Clucas, born Arbory, I of M. This is a possibility for my research, possible twin of John?, but there are a few others also in the loop. Perhaps this may be of interest to you. Live in New Zealand, so we are all trying to find one another somewhere along the line.

Regards. Linda Carter.
